  2. Well with my memory.

     

    Mk1 Pigs have had many colours, from sand if they have served in Malaya, and Camo from other fields as well as DB green.

     

    Depending what Era and field you want to depict?

     

    If its Northern Ireland Green olive and DB green for a MK1 poss camo, but this would have not lasted long as on a tour they would have been painted frequently due to the amount of paint bombs

     

    A MK2 would only be in Olive green, The Stand off Kremlin turret pig would not have been camo, thats added after. Should be Olive green.

     

    Hope this helps, MK 2 Pigs would have nothing on them, ie cam net and jerry cans and other items as this would be a fire risk. And painting a Pig Camo would be pointless as it has limited use off road.

    How would i find out if indeed it went to NI? would Hilton as stock have movements? or would it have sat in a yard?

  4. Bloody liberty advertising something with a peugot 306 at the side and saying its original! the 306 started on a M reg 1995 let me see, hmm last Pig came of census 1995 and that was not one of them...

     

    What is that on the wing? ?

     

    Sorry if im ranting, but its unfair to sell to a user as original!

    made april 1955

    came into service july 1955, held in storage till may 1972

    brought back on charge by 38 central workshops REME

    off to Hilton (where is that?)

     

    june 1972 Chertsey, march 1973 off to central depot hilton again

    18th command workshop hilton briefly

    1973 may off to lydd/hythe ranges

    in feb 1983 back to hilton

    jan 1986 struck off cencus

     

    what was it a Taxi?
