If they withdraw Warrior from service they will likely be sold off in a job lot overseas, like Challenger 1, Saxon, CVRTs to Latvia, the WMIKs going to Lebanon etc.

It is a CVRT J60 part, I will look up the part number later unless someone beats me too it.

British military vehicles 1950s to present. They are very common in the U.K.

Do we have a date roughly when this happened?
Early 90s.

Nothing to do with an asset code, when they got to the end of the numbers-letters-numbers series they started the letters-numbers-letters series. My newer Wolf is HP63AA but my older Lightweight is 57KB22.

What periscopes are used on the Sultan Coupla? Are the drivers the same scopes on all CVRT's?
Yes the drivers scopes are all the same. The Sultan cupola uses one of those and some No. 42s.

Thanks, release agent was rubbish, I now use grease or gear oil, works a treat.
new pads have about 8-9mm of rubber on at there lowest point, does not seem much, I'm making them with 12-13mm, also will be testing some with 15-16mm
I would be very careful with increasing the height of the track pads, they may last longer but the tracks do bounce a lot when running and you could create issues.

They are usually in the parts list.

The price of the manual is cheap compared to the price of the Scimitar... or the price of fixing it if you damage it by not operating it correctly 😉

You could try pressure washing it to get rid of anything loose and then paint over the top?

The back door was sometimes painted green to match the outside, I would clean it up and paint it nato green.

I guess most people who have restored a Jeep have a box of junk parts, I certainly do... Grab handles which don’t fit, oil hoses which leak, fuel sender which never worked, finding out which parts are good and who supplies them gets expensive!

The wiring diagram is usually in the illustrated parts list.

Cheers mate I'll have a look for some.
You shouldn’t have to look hard, any paint supplier can mix that colour for you, or try eBay.

Road registering an fv434
in Tracked vehicles

You can’t MOT a tracked vehicle, see form V122G. Your Q plate probably means the age couldn’t be verified when it was registered, you’ll need to get that changed for it to be tax exempt. I hear it is more difficult than it should be, best talk to the DVLA and ask them for some advice.
