Those are 353 radio mounts, but your friend is missing the plate which they bolt to.

Oh, Ok.
Is there any particular callout for the configurations that would help with identifying the standard equipment?
Not sure what you mean? The CES list will tell you what tools and equipment was issued with each vehicle.

How many prints like that do you have for the CVR(T)s?
There are thousands of pages of manuals for CVR(T)s. Here is a good place to start:

What would they be a repair for?
Broken gearbox mounts

I think that rather than asking for our opinions you need to be talking the company you paid to do the work. You are the customer and they should be ensuring customer satisfaction. If you can’t get any resolution then you might need to take it further.

Later British army Scimitars used the Sabre type gun crutch.

I doubt that the cargo box took any fire other than from someone with a drill. The rear mudguards are often smashed as they are quite fragile. The row of countersunk bolts on the gearbox mount is a standard repair.

Having looked through the 07FDxx Scimitars on the Merlin Archive I think yours is 07FD59 since it’s the only one I’ve seen around the area I think yours would be in which has not been converted to diesel.

That was the petrol one with the chain gun? Have you asked Withams for some release paperwork? Try checking under the paint where the numbers should be on the front & back, they may have just painted over them.

I’m surprised the turret has a data plate with the hull number on it, it would have been possible for turrets to be swapped at base overhaul. There is no database or any way of linking the hull number back to a military registration number as far as I know.
The data plate you want is in the hull behind near the NBC pack and next to the fuel filter.
What is the history of the vehicle? Where did you get it from?

Mine is SCI141 and is 07FD04. Yours could be something like 07FD53? Is the data plate missing? It should be near the fuel filter.
