Interesting that a Carrier is on a trailer pulled by what appears to be a current Military vehicle, so is it on its way to or from some Army event, like the Edinburgh Tattoo or Jubilee celibration?
The MAN HX is on civilian plates.

I have seen a few different solutions. Marine tank in the rear lower bin and the original tank compartment opened up and a metal tank fitted. You could just fix your leak though?

I would send it here:

One positive sign: I got a reply to my third email about whether their truck was available to move my tank and armoured cars as I do not have a low loader of my own. Admittedly, reply was in essence, "your query has been passed to the appropriate person" but at least a reply so my attendance at W&P is still in the balance! I note no one has replied to my earlier posts here asking if any large and/or armoured vehicles had booked in yet. If I do attend, I hope I am not the only armour that does!
Have you noticed that there is now no charge for tracked vehicles on the booking website? I am assuming it is because they are not getting many bookings?

I asked about transport for tracked armour and they never replied to my email.

Hi Robin,
the inserts should be easy to remove with a couple of long pry bars. I’ve never had any issues removing them.

If 24B is a Scimitar it will not be 03 FD xx since that would make it a scorpion.

A 12x12 is 110kg.

Banisters did have sun gears at some point as I had a couple from them.

17EA92 was sold off in 2010, hopefully it’s still alive in private hands somewhere.

Part number is 598702, plenty of suppliers if you Google it or look on eBay.

You can use a standard trailer board and replace the bulbs, but I think you’ll find yours are 12v? There are adaptors to convert to the military electrical connector or you can make one yourself.

There’s a browning mount on eBay U.K. at the moment. I don’t think the Bren ring was ever fitted to a Mk6, does yours have the hatch in the roof?

BS381C shade 285. If you can’t get this in the US take a small part off and get the paint matched to it.

This is a difficult topic and I’m not sure you’re going to find what you need on this forum.
I have some experience with regards to C&U regs and CVRTs.
You need to find the construction and use regulations, they are online, and read through them. I don’t think you can get around the width problem.

Falklands CVR(T)s
in Tracked vehicles

a copy of the Merlin Archive on this vehicle posted by sirhc confirms it was rebuilt. On 15/08/2013 it was at Witham (Specialist Vehicles) Ltd. However, the next entry reads "Date Not Recorded - RHG/D LAD". So at some point it was cast, but within the last nine years it has been taken back on strength, and has actually gone back to the Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons). Is it still serving with them?
that’s not what it means at all, it just means no date was recorded for that entry. It will be in private hands or scrapped.
