Perhaps the organiser has reached an agreement with the hop farm to call it the "War & Peace show" as they supposedly owned the name
if I recall correctly? The ORIGINAL 'Owner' of the War & Peace Show registered title. KEPT that Title in His possession? He DID however sell the 'Show' & Title for 'The War & Peace Revival Show'. To 'John'!.......
Am I reading too much into this? Or is the 'Original' Owner involved now in this particular show? It does make one wonder, dosent it?... 😉

Hi Bob! Not sure, But I THINK it may be for the current 60mm Mortar?

I spoke to John Allison today in France (W&P show organizer). He said the show is definitely going ahead. Office opens next week. https://warandpeaceshow.com/

I think 'John' is being a little over optimistic?........😁

I got my First Cap issued in 1974 as a young 17.1/2 Recruit at Arborfield! 😁
We were only allowed to wear them on the final field exercise.
& at unit level, very few People wore them at all. Except acting as 'Enemy' to distinguish them from Friendly Forces! The cap is still on issue today, but in the Current MTP Camo Material.

An old friend of mine was cleaning/oiling his F&S fighting knife, door bell rang constantly, got up to answer it, returned sat on sofa knife blade went through thigh flesh (it had fallen between cushions) luckily no major veins severed 😫.
I guess He got the Point?.......😎

And the perennially irritating 'German' Halftracks with scalloped sides.
That are SCREAMINGLY obvious US White / International Half Tracks!!!!...

I think The steering unit oil is also cooled through the HE. You would not believe how HOT, the Steering box gets. When in use!......I used to open the front hatch & fry food in a mess tin. On Top of one of the flat access covers on the S/U!.......😲

Andym you waz right - after churning the beast over, yes I have chicken soup - just like my little fergie has ;-(
Water in rad is not down, but probably 5L of chicken soup taken out of the GB to get the level between the danger markers.
This will be fun!
Just pray that it is not your heat exchanger that is leaking!......They are hard to source & usually very expensive when you do!.......If they leak internally, They can leak water into the Lube system! that is another avenue of exploration to contend with!.....

Chris, The WD had so many left in stock as spares in Ordinance depot's. It was Decided that the grips be incorporated into the Mount design. To use up surplus stocks.
Makes sense logistically when you think about it!

No probs, keeping my eyes open. I can’t see the photo as my iPhone doesn’t appear to have the required app to open it. But now I know what you need I’ll be on the look out. I’ve seen single parts recently but haven’t seen a complete one in years.
Cheers Chris! I only require the Housing. I dont need the internals.

Nice Work! I'm sure many hours went into constructing that?
All you need now, is a female figure with an Ice cream tray hanging off Her neck! 😁

Top left is a Headspace & timing gauge, for a .30" Cal Browning MG.
Bottom right APPEARS to be a chamber reamer?
Apart from the H/S & timing gauge. I have never encountered any of the other three tools I'm afraid.

No Clive, they are areas where the paint has come off, through handling.
