    Not sure if right place to post, trying to help my daughter raise funds for university trip, she is great with silver. Can anyone help with the use of these cooker's, the thought is a stall cooking, burgers bacon rolls etc, I have seen ovens for this as well, Thanks Richard

    Being ignorant re engines but learning, could you explain, many thanks. My greatest challenge was changing the oil and filters which I went out and celebrated, I am in awe of the people on here who can weld rebuild etc

    Ruxy Thanks for this lead, I have emailed Hobson but no response. Was looking to see if they or anyone had a breakdown of numbers, e.g. 110, defender 110 etc

    Thanks, slowly piecing the information together, taking a step further I assume the serial number then is the number of reconditioned engines this factory did prior to this one?

    The mechanics have got the cylinder head off and found this plate. Can see date, but not sure of anything else, know Ruxy is interested as well Richard

    That is similar to the one I saw but they were in a reservoir near Otterburn, the picture was hanging in the MT section after being presented by the team, trying to remember 30 years ago as well. Wonder if its still around

    Just seen this, sorry if I had spotted earlier would have collected and stored till collection sorted I work about 1 hour away and if win nip down to collect

    It was the internal layout which brought the Naval box to mind, wasn't think of it being that, more the documents being held there

    I have a recollection of seeing a photograph at Otterburn Ranges, I was told it was a Land Rover, only part visible was the windscreen, the 2 occupants were driving in a local lake, both in dry bags.they seemed to be standing to drive the never did find out any more
