  1. Looks like a document holder of some sort, we had one on the bridge that held about 5 A4 folders but was ready to be thrown over board if needed
  2. Got the Land Rover to the mechanics, they have found this, they also found a plate advising that the engine has been rebuilt, need to get a picture

  4. Having picked up a DMU unit I was looking at the colour, am I right this is Bronze Green if not what would it be?

  6. Thanks, Foxtrott363, has just given me a better lead than I have had up to this point. When get Land Rover back need to check the cables are running from the ATU into the cab, vaguely remember seeing them in the bonnet fitting

  8. Guys Thanks for the help, does any one have a list of cables for the second diagram which seems to fit my FFR Land Rover, they are not listed in that publication. I am hunting on the internet as well Richard

As part of my attempt to wire the Land Rover Radio set up I have a copy of the installation guide, "Clansman Radio Installations in Trucks. 1/2 and 1/3 Ton FFR and GS, Rover, and a copy from Land Rover Light Weight. Both diagrams mention cables in a sort code e.g. 401, I am assuming that this reference is the same for all Clansman documents, can some one confirm that is correct? Is there a document which lists all short codes against NSN? Thanks in advance Richard

  16. Just been asked to tow a land rover with no driver, boot done this before. Questions, I assume an a frame to do this, how and where do I attach the frame to the towed vehicle Is there a document to help Thanks Richard
  17. Not sure if right place, I have a friend who working in Nigeria, does anyone have information on land rover or equivalent being used there. Would love to help him as he may want to import one to UK when he finishes contract
  18. Does any one have a copy of Army message pad from about 1983, for use in the field, i.e. Land Rover, a coy of one would be appreciated, if you have an original size of it as well would help Richard
  19. Just seen a MAN lorry with white band around, photographs of my Land Rover show similar from 30 years ago, the rear had scratch marks so assumed it was aluminium

  24. I understood the reason you were not allowed to park on the pavement was so the visually impaired didn't walk into obstructions. Strangely in my travels there are several towns saying park on pavement
