AmphibAndy Posted August 11, 2014 Share Posted August 11, 2014 Guys, I am having trouble getting my T16 Carrier to charge. Used to work ok, and now it will not. The generator is working as far as I can see having tested it, and repolarised it. however, the regulator is not providing current through it to the field terminal to the generator. If I cut the regulator out of the circuit and apply 12v to the field wire to the generator all is well. So its a three pole regulator much like a Jeep, Dodge. Half track. Is anyone out there an expert on these things who lives in the Kent area? Trying to get it to Combined Ops at the weekend but just cannot sort this.
