  1. Good afternoon, A BIT OF ADVICE PLEASE, I HAVE A 1942 GPW JEEP, WITH A CARTER CARBURETTOR, WHEN I PRIME THE FUEL SYSTEM WITH FUEL PUMP, A FUEL LEAK IN NOTICED COMING FROM A DRILLING/HOLE FROM THE CARBURETTOR BODY, IF I PUMP THE THROTTLE PEDAL WITH THE ENGINE ON OR OFF, I STILL HAVE FUEL LEAKING OUT OF THE HOLE, BUT NOT AT IDLE. SO HAVE I A BLANKING PLUG GONE MISSING OR IS A GOOD BLOW WITH THE AIR GUN REQUIRED, IT IS ON THE ACCELERATOR PUMP SIDE, OR A NEW PLUNGER AND SEAL REQUIRED, OR JUST BUY A NEW CARBURETTOR, THANKS IN ADVANCE ROB.

  4. ALL parts are available, 2 pipes,1 elbow, and gaskets, one per side, little bit of jointing compound, keep it original. the elbow can crack, make sure you clean both sides of the hull, before refitting gaskets, nothing worse than finding you have a small blow. ROB.
