richfr
Hi, I have the chance to buy a 1943 US army I-56-K valve test set. Includes a I-176 Test Unit, an I-166 Voltohmmeter, and the I-177 Tube Tester in a CS-130 case. http://www.supremeinstruments.org/military.htm It looks in good condition and complete but no idea if it works. Does anybody have an idea what it would be worth? I am new to collecting equipment and dont want to pay over the odds for it. Thanks Edited May 17, 2017 by richfr
richfr
I should have said a rough idea £50-£100, £100-£200, £200-£500? More? Thanks in advance.
g0ozs
Hi For a real "Mutual Conductance" valve tester (i.e. one that measures the performance of the valve rather than just saying if it is completely dead or not) I would expect to pay low hundreds - there is an I-77 on e-Bay for £170 plua P&P now (not mine) - I'd say between £200-£300 for the list you described Regards Iain
