abn deuce Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 (edited) A photo of a Valentine tank during maneuvers in an English town caption has got the wrong date , the group of photo's I got this from were dated 1941 . and clearly this is not a 1901 tank since the first "Tanks" were not built until 1915 . Townspeople gathering around a tank during wargames. Location: United Kingdom Date taken: 1901 Edited March 10, 2009 by abn deuce Quote

John Pearson Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 In 1941, the tank is more likely to be a Mk I or II rather than a IV but to be fair, all three look identical from the front. Quote
