Papav66
It's a family show with a large military presence to include a mix of steam engines both full size & miniature, vintage & classic cars, motorbikes, commercials, agricultural bygones, trade stalls, fairground along with a decent sized arena. Papav66
Popped over to the camp today to see some of the latest additions, so this is our WW2 armoured ARP 'Consol' shelter. After the war it was used to give protection when blasting in a quarry in Cornwall. Then it was saved from the scrapman a few years ago and purchased by Bob last month who has re-fitted two seats inside and re-painted. Papav66
Turned out to be a great warm up for our June show and we were so lucky with the weather. My daughter and her friend really enjoyed a ride in the Samaritan so thanks to Graham for that. And the North Staffs as usual put on a great diorama. I even donned my new uniform but it did itch, so don't laugh.
