As you know Chappers lost his dear friend Pete Base recently and his legacy continues. Peters wife sent some of the donations received at his funeral to the HMVF campaign. Not matter how you look at this, this campaign has touched many and has shown how wonderful the human spirit really is. I would publicly like to thank Peters wife Suzanne, family and friends for their kindness. I hope everyone else will join me. Kind regards. Chappers Posted December 2, 2008 Share Posted December 2, 2008 It's funny how this seem to work out, It was Just after Pete Passed away that I found the post Jack had put up with regards to the NVA appeal, Sue had asked me what charity would Pete have liked his donation to go to,The first to mind was this appeal. Knowing Pete he would have been so proud of what everyone is doing. I'm so please it's going to a great cause.
