whistlinwolf
Bound to spark off a debate with this one (I hope). What standard markings should be on a wartime Jeep in ETO? Can't decide what to put on mine after its recent paint job. Tim
ja020
What Nationality is it? They all had a white star, but then it depends which army had it what you put on it. Then it will depend on which unit etc. so you will need to decide on a format of country, army, unit, etc. before the markings can be applied. There are a few good books on vehicles you can read up on, and some web pages, couple listed below Canadian - http://bcoy1cpb.pacdat.net/markings_on_military_vehicles.htm USA - http://www.geocities.com/earlymb/markings.html happy marking
whistlinwolf
Predominantly US but will get used for odd Brit and Polish Para days just to confuse things , cammo netting used to cover a whole lot of stuff up. I will try and stay away from it being too unit specific. I may even just return it to as it was pre paint job, with shipping stenciling, 2x 5" stars at rear and bonnet numbering.
