Citroman
I did find this vintage Michelin tyre lever on a belgian fleamarket today. After cleaning the rust of it seems to have a marking of a partial "broad arrow". Could this be? Did the British Army use Michelin tyre levers? fv1609
Looking in VAOS Section LV6-MT2 Tools - Special to mechanical transport & tyres 1944. The tyre levers are all Dunlop.
Citroman
Could be WW1 too...
Great War truck
Hard to say. It could be. I am not aware that the WD purchased French made tools, but it could have been acquired locally and then stamped accordingly. A nice artefact all the same. Sean N
It looks a little like a partial broad arrow, but it could easily just be damage, particularly the way there appears to be galling to one side?
Citroman
Could certainly be. But as they also used french binoculars etc in ww1. That was my direction of thinking.😉
