Hi all,

I've just come across this site and haven't much experience in the way of MOD vehicle history checks etc. I'm trying to find out as much about my ex MOD Land Rover as possible. It's been in the family for 14+ years and is almost like a family member at this point and we'd love to know more about it's past.

I managed to find a few details on the Merlin 2.0 list, but there was no service history anywhere. I haven't missed any tabs or anything have I? Or is there was more info that I've missed:

Erm:                      77KF43
Nsn:                      2320998938037
Asset_code:        NB16253100
Contract_nu:       FVE22A340
Description:         TRUCK UTY LIGHT FFR PLAIN HARD TOP 12/24V 4X4 LAND ROVER 90 (DSL)
Colour:                  Army/NATO Green IRR
Unit_title:            VEHICLE NO LONGER IN SERVICE
Date_in_service:    20/08/1986
Chassis_no:        SALLDVAC7AA267432
Cast_i:                  Y
Cast_date:           28/01/2010

I've also stumbled across this movement history and would love to know if anyone knows more about what it all means, or where my vehicle may have been? Any info on what the below RIV/RCP etc. all stands for would be great too:

RIV No. - RIV date - UIN - Unit title - RCP no. - RCP date

CAPITA - 19/08/1986 - CA010A - UNKNOWN - CAPITA - 20/08/1986

H18230 - 16/04/1987 - A3512A - SQN HQ/HQ SQN 35 SIG REGT (V) - H18230 - 16/04/1987

284 - 19/05/1999 - A6047A - HQ COY 4 MERCIAN - 284 - 26/05/1999

26974 - 27/03/2008 - A62005F - DSG VEHICLES CATTERICK - 26974 - 28/08/2008

004/10 - 27/04/2010 - CQ710A - WITHAM (SPECIALIST VEHICLES) LTD - 004/10 - 27/04/2010

Many thanks indeed all. I've seen people with photos of their land rovers in service etc. Is there an archive somewhere with all of this information? Or is it just a case of finding everything? I'd love to start building a case history on this vehicle.

Any help, advice/comments much appreciated.

Best

B.
