DFC1943Fl.Lt.
Hi all, Hope you can help me find a wearable WW2 Poncho. I am needing one for next year re-enactments. I have looked at most of the military sites, but they all seem to be selling the post war green capes, I'm after the British brownish colour poncho. Any help would be very much appreciated. Many thanks Steve.
Privatejoker
You are better off with a repro, such as this: MKVII Brown Waterproof Cape by Kay Canvas (sofmilitary.co.uk) An original would be grubby, faded and are normally has a degree of hardness as its rubberised canvas. Plus, pricing would start from around double the cost of a copy.

Cost £86 but won the listing, was delivered just over a week ago and very happy with it. Still supple enough to wear with no rips or spits. Said it came in a box full of WW2 items he had bought. Cheers Steve.
Privatejoker
Not a problem mate, as long as you got what you needed that’s the main thing!
