Signals Intercept Vehicles (WW2 & COLD WAR)

Hi all. I am trying to source two types of vehicles to kit buy and build:

1) WW2 German Radio/Signals Intercept (Direction Finder) vehicles.  Usually no windows, non-descript or 'covert' vans or military vehicle with antenna on roof, driven around Paris and other towns in 2s or 3s to locate SOE etc agents radio'ing.  What was the vehicle or vehicle types please? 

2) Cold War (East German/Stasi) Radio/Signals Intercept (Direction Finder) vehicles. Again, usually VW(?) with no windows and radio antenna, non-descript or 'covert' vans.  Happy to also get Soviet ones too, features in Netflix movie "The Spy" (Cairo).

Im sure for both asks there are various types, but keen to get a small list. Any help appreciated!!
