Spitfire on HMVF TV

That is Alan De-Cadenet it was being shot for a BBC 2 series called The Airshow, the Spitfire MH434 is owned by The Old Flying Machine Company from Duxford and was being flown by the Late Ray Hanna, he thought it would be fun to keep it low but ended up having parts of his body well and truly kicked by the CAA.

Maybe, but that flying under the bridge is something else!!!

 

 

 

 

yes there was a story when I was a lad that a Spit pilot flew under a bridge in Hampshire during WW2 - it was then known as Spitfire bridge - not sure how true that is or it was one of those that I heard and thought it sounded like a good story :dunno:
