baxterwood
Hi all, Could I ask if anyone has the dimensions of the Ministry of Supply rebuild plates that were attached to the glove box of rebuilt Jeeps during and after WW2 or does anyone have a contact who has some unissued originals or reproduction examples. They look like the photo here borrowed from this forum. Thanks, Peter
Nikos
Mine were sadly missing, but I know many people with them who I am sure would be willing to help you. Have you got a Brit re-build jeep? We keep a register of them as well as group dedicated to the research of British service jeeps, see my signature. Nick
baxterwood
Nick, Yes I am in touch with the website and the facebook page too, I posted some photos of my Jeep on there last week. Peter Whitaker 49 YH
Surveyor
Are the holes still visible on the vehicle as that would given an indication of size
baxterwood
I know they should be approx. 1 inch x 2 5/8 inches but the actual size of the plate is what puzzles me.
