airmobile Posted July 30, 2015 Share Posted July 30, 2015 Hello, In researching the history of my 24v winterised s3 lightweight, the copy of merlin detailed the above UIN and unit. The relevant years were 1988 to 1992. The HQ and RM designations are self evident but what does ex54 signify? I am not aware of a 54 numbered unit serving with 3cdo brigade during this time period. 54 cdo engineers were not reformed until 2008 at Chivenor. Can anyone help with the above UIN please?
