MHillyard
Hi All I am trying to put a battledress to represent the Gloucestershire Regiment in korea as my Grandad served with them there. The patches I have which he had during service were the Gloucestershire Titles, Shield shaped commonwealth patch and the 29th infantry brigade patch. I was wondering how these would be worn. I have seen images of the 29th patch on both the right and left arm plus the same goes with the commonwealth patch but were these worn together (e.g. 29th patch on the right and commonwealth on the left) or were they never worn together? I have been in contact with the Gloucestershire Regiment museum and they are not sure and cannot find any official documentation. Just wondering if anyone knows how they would have been worn. Will try to get a picture up of the patches is needed Many thanks in advance!
