Saracen RFC measurements

Cold_War_Collection

Question

Well everybody,

The CWC Saracen is just about done, with a successful run up carried out and no oil leaks. Before we undertake road tests, we feel its important to fit the RFC shroud . We do not have a pattern for this, so we are asking if anyone has pictures, measurements of this of even the EMER mod instructions so we can have one made up?

many thanks

Nick

Nick the instructions are in EMER WHEELED VEHICLES V 617 Mod Instr No 64

There are a lot of line drawings but there are few measurements. The instructions relate mainly to modifications & fixing brackets for the Plate, front deflector FV344159 it assumes of course you have the complete kit LV9/AAD/MOD 20533/1

I can scan front, top, side views etc there are only measurements for the location of supporting bosses to be welded.

Hello Clive,

yes, we have most of the fittings, although the brackets have been removed from the hull. I think we can do an acceptable job of it if we even have a few mesurements to extraoplate from.

Any drawings you have would be most helpful

Many Thanks

Nick
