Mind you with a .38 Webley the safest place is probably in front. A teacher of mine used to tell a story that he was stumbling about at night in France when an equally lost and confused German appered about 6 foot in front of him. At this point he leveled the trusty Webley and let go 6 shots rapid! The German was still standing blinking in amazment.
