fv1609 Posted August 31, 2014 Share Posted August 31, 2014 Richard my 1954 RAF Vocab 16E only lists two with similar codes: Butler BWD AF1 Lucas LWD AF1 So presumably the maker of FWD AF1 started with the letter 'F' Anyway the RAF Vocab says that the Butler & Lucas are completely interchangeable as complete units. Unlike most VAOS the RAF Vocab is good at giving the applications, but the applications here for both is given as "Universal" I'm afraid.
