Marmite!!
http://www.rlcarchive.org/VehicleSrch.aspx [h=2]Vehicle records[/h] We have digitised the 210,000 Army 'B' vehicle history cards, previously held by the Museum of Army Transport. These hold records for vehicles entering service from the 1940's to the late 1980's. More details. These are available for download at a price of £35. Please enter the equipment registration mark ('ERM') in the search box below to see if we have a copy of the cards. In entering the registration mark please use the correct format (e.g. 95KB65) with no spaces. If you do not know the ERM, we may be able to locate the records from the chassis number of the vehicle. This requires some research as only a small number of chassis numbers have been transcribed. The fee to commission the research is £10, but please note that we cannot guarantee to locate the required vehicle record, and that this fee is non-returnable. To request a chassis number search, please click here and follow instructions If we can locate the vehicle record from its chassis number, we will advise you the ERM, and you can then download the vehicle record from this page for £35. A further source of vehicle records are 'Key Cards'. These only contain brief details and can be obtained from The RLC Museum for a £35 research fee. More details Finally, The RLC Museum does not hold records for vehicles entering service after 1989. These can be obtained from The Policy Secretariat of MOD Defence Equipment and Support.
