NAAFI
Hi everyone On July 7th and 8th, Exbury in Hampshire is hosting an event with the adjacent Lepe Country Park This year, all exhibitors and vehicles will be on the main site in front of the house overlooking the Solent. Exbury was a Royal Navy shore base during the war, the place where the signal was received from Eisenhower to relay to the Fleet on the morning of D-Day. Lepe was one of the prime construction sites for Mulberry and was also used as a temporary camp for 6000 D-Day troops. The event supports charities including Service charities and a children's charity. Please come along a spend a great weekend on the south coast and help support worthwhile causes. And there is even a Big Band Concert on the Saturday evening. NOW CONFIRMED. Special Guest Rosemary Squires singing some of the Forces favourites. Rose first sang for the troops during WW2 at the age of 14. For more info telephone 023 80 89 1203 during office hours Best wishes :-) Max
