fesm_ndt
Not good news http://www.news.com.au/breaking-news/pilot-killed-in-spitfire-plane-crash-at-salisbury-in-adelaides-northern-suburbs/story-e6frfkp9-1226599160065
fesm_ndt
the news has has just been updated to state "a replica of the Mark 26 Spitfire" When the news first came up they was saying it was one of the two only ww2 airworthy Spitfires based out of NSW. I guess they made an error and have been corrected. Still not good news
Pzkpfw-e
Most unfortunate. It's an 80% scale model.Sounds like structural failure, if the spectator's comments are right.

Explains why the canopy appears to bulge in an unsightly manner.
