Bruce Newsome Posted July 19, 2012 Share Posted July 19, 2012 Just found in the Leyland Journal of 1935 the cost of a Leyland Octopus lorry when first introduced: 1,225 quid for the short wheelbase, 1,250 for the long wheelbase, plus another 100 for the 8x4 drive and another 150 for a diesel engine.
