vor
Hi would anybody know if the 1947/51 Ford pilot was ever used by the army post war. I have been offered one and it has a mixture of faded deep bronze green and olive drab paint around the engine bay and inner wings. Cheers Stan. woa2
To my knowledge, the Ford Pilot was not used by the British Military. They did make WOA2A utility cars post-war, however.
Degsy
In his book which I think was called Winged Dagger Roy Farrant talks about using one in Palestine at the time of the troubles there but I think he may have been attached to the police at the time. Haven't read the book for some time and my memory is a bit hazy at times:undecided:

It could have been a vehicle sold to the local police force he was using.
