woa2
I have just bought a new coil to replace the failed one on my WOT2. The old coil had SW and CB marked on it but the new one has + and - instead. I can make a good guess as to which way it should go round, but I thought I had better ask some experts first. The WOT2 is Negative earth. Many thanks. Tony B
Having just gone through this. If the vehicle is NEGATIVE earth the IGNITION goes to + . Which if the old cells are heaving correctly is the SW on the old coil.

I have now fitted the new coil as you suggested and it's running OK. Last week the WOT2 was on its first trip out this year and died completely just half a mile from home after starting to run rough. Had to get towed home by the AA. Robert
examech
SW is to SWitch, CB is to Contact Breaker. Reg
Tony B
no problems guys. I'm glad I could remeber the SW and CB bit. Last time I saw that must have been 1970.
