History of the Artists Rifles

Recommended Posts

A comprehensive history of the Artists Rifles from it's founding until 1947 when it became 21st Battalion Special Air Service Regiment. This book covers the both the famous members of society who served as Artists, the units war record in the Boer wars, WW1 and WW2 as well as the training and sporting regimes. Far too much to cover in detail without reprinting the book here!!

Published by Pen & Sword publications the public price is £25.00 - mine turned up today as free isue to a former Artist and, call me biased if you must, it's been a hard book to put down!!
