handler 69
Does anyone know where I can get just the stock? Cheers Troy
diver99
Hi there, you could try World Wide Arms. They are selling sterlings. They probably would have bought in bulk which may include some scrappers. email them and ask. http://www.worldwidearms.com/popup.cfm?p_n=97172&p_i=97172 regards
ferretfixer
Beware though! Ther are a few floating about on the Militaria Circuit, brand new in thier brown cardboard boxes! they are for the EARLIER Mk L2A2 & NOT for the normally encountered L2A3. THEY ARE SHORTER & WILL NOT FIT! You need to have your Deact Sterling with you when you go to a fair so you can try fit the stock assembly for length. :nut:
diver99
This company is selling stocks, wrapped at £75.00, heres the link; http://www.project-x.org.uk/sterlingrelated.html
ferretfixer
Judging from the lack of knowledge/information on most of the products offered on this site. I would want conformation as to what model Sterling this stock is for! £75 seems steep for an Unknown! You may buy it & find it is for the earlier model & NOT fit yours! Chris Hall
Give him a call, he is very knowledgeable, I've bought some stuff off him in the past. His name is Philip and he works at Bletchley park (Or used to).
