ferrettkitt Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 I recently bought a Distribution box (Inter vehicle starting) off ebay suitable for Ferret / Champ and many others. It was sold as spares or repairs and looks to have been shorted on the inter vehicle starting side. The contacts on the 30 amp circuit breaker look to have been melted together. I have reset the gap on 30 amp breaker by eye (very rough) and I can complete the circuit from one side of the breaker to the other when I press down on the contacts. Would I be better off replacing the whole circuit breaker unit rather than having it go bang later?
