I hear it on good authority that one member was getting very passionate about

the purchase of some spanners at the gdsf his wife did promise to put them

somewhere if he did not go away any ideas who it could be ?????????????

brital spanners? They must be the ones for sale on the cheap tool stalls, made in China or some other far away place, used in anger and they stretch or break

 

Now Britool spanners, now they are excellent :-) Made in this country which is a rare thing now. I also frequented ththe stall area t GDSF and found a few good stalls there with machine tools and parts, not much autojumble NOS bits though.

Yes I'll come clean I have a fetish for Britool tools and could even be called obsessive ??

So if anyone has Britool stuff they want to get rid of

It appears that we all have our weaknesses, did you not buy some lamps too and I purchased a few tilley lamps to add to the collection, so yes I could be classed as a

Tilley Anorak but Mr Bissett is much worse.
