While on a familiy trip I persuaded the gang to stop by at a small museum in Bagn, Norway. Not a very big place, but I'd heard that they had a small collection of ww2 things. Bagn was one of the few places that the unprepared norwegian forces put up a good fight. Actually stopped the germans, for a while. A young girl showed us the collection, and I must say that I was impressed by the collection. The girl understood that I probably knew more about this than she did, so instead of wasting time she found the telephone number for the guy who collected all these things. She said that he usually wasn't too busy, so I'd just give him a call next time in the area. On my way out she handed me a free gift, a postcard showing the place the battle took place.
