sandy stafford
Hi all Have just joined this site, so thought I might tell you a bit about myself. My name is Sandy and I am interested in all historic Vehicles, my partner owns a 1939 Singer Le-mans, I owened [until last year] a BSA M20, just found it too hard to kick over. I am currently writing the story of J N Hempstead, Flt Eng on the Halifax that crashed over occupied Holland in 1943. The pilot G R Duthie died in the crash, the other crew members were captured but John Hempstead made it back to England. If any of you know any details or in fact any of the crew I would be delighted to hear from you. The book is almost finished, but always room for more details. I also do 1940 re-enactions
