abn deuce
Found a site all about music , what the hits were and who sang them , the site is searchable by type and year . had a peek at what the 25 most popular songs for 1944 were in the USA. Perhaps there is a simular site for music in Great Britian ? .Do the re-inactors play period music at W&P when sitting by their Vehicles for example ? As G.I.'s would have been listening to the radio while in boot camp or in barracks in Great Britian .This is the site I visited , I m not connected to it in any way just giving credit www.popculturemadness.com 1944 - Pop Song Hits Most Requested Music 1.
