snowtracdave Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 Yesterday , Wednesday 20th January a Douglas C47B Dakota Mk IV was delivered by a convoy of low loaders to Colchester garrrison to be reassembled and stationed at the gate to the new Merville barracks . The aircraft has come from it's previous home at Aldershot via North Weald airfield where it has undergone a year long refurbishment . It will now be reassembled over the next month before going on display .
