ACH
Please help me I'm special........ Does anybody know the axle weights for the Bedford RL (mine's an AFS one)? What is the gross train weight? What type of trailer would the military ones have towed? Cheers Adam

0 ACH
Cheers Clive, noticed the bridge plate weights, the pics of tankers I've seen all had 10 on and I'm sure I've seen a recovery version with a 10 on the bridge plate. But I might be wrong.
0 schliesser92
All the GS and radio-relay RLs I've seen had "9" on theitr bridge plates. The MKs had "10"
0 fv1609
The data I posted was from the User Handbook for RLB, RLD & RLF. Looking in Data Book of War Department G.S. "B" Vehicles WO Code No.12710 it gives these Bridge Classifications. So for what its worth, this is what it says: RLB - 9 Binned - 7 Charging, Signals, RLD - 8 Power Generating & Charging - 7 Cargo with winch RLW & RLF - 9 Fuel tanker - 7 Cargo FV Body - 9 Signals Mk 2, unfitted - 8 Cargo Dropside -
