  7. Hi, It seems to be that we have found another differeance between '39 en '40 model MW's. My horn is the same way mounted as John's. And i do spot differend shock absorbers to on the front axle......:nut: Cheers, Louis

  10. Hi Jeremy, The headlamp looks like Civi to me and the mounting should be on the bottom and you should have flat glass in it if i am correct...It also looks like an 6 inch version am i correct on that..?? Cheers, Louis

  17. It seems to be that Vauxhall did make some modifications in the begining too. Hope they both find a good home, maybe at one day there wil be more aeroscreens on the road then Jeeps..:cool2:
  18. Hi, You never know where these vehicles have been in the war... Might have seen seferal times the REME workshop. They did use what was for hand... Also seen Bedfords with early and later specs on the same car. It was important to let them work, they didnt look at how it should have been when it came out of the Vauxhall factory.. Cheers, Louis

  23. Hi All, I did restore the steering wheel of my Bedford aeroscreen in the past and the old owner was amazed how good looking it was again, so he did gave me 2 others for reparing. After that Roof over Britain came with 2 badly broken steering wheels and i did that job too.... I did have used some filling material we do use at my work for connecting sockets to steel wire and after grinding sprayd them in black. Cheers, Louis

  25. Hi All, Maybe a late responce. But the steering wheel of my earoscreen Bedford is originally black. I had to restore it becouse of the cracks in it did also repaire 3 others for other MV friends of me. Did use a filling that we use at my work for socketing steal wire onto sockets. Its good stuf the only negative thing is that it is very hard so tools wil wear of fast but after grinding and painting it looks amazingly new. Cheers, Louis
