  5. Hi Mick, I am the latest owner of the Bedford with registration plate PSJ 718. She have ofcourse Dutch plates these days BE-68-17. Her chassis number is MWD 12368 wich isnt to far away from yours. Her contract number is V 3733 Her WD number is Z 4175395 Did you buy your Bedford with the 2 big headlamps on it..? Or did you find them..? Cheers, Louis
  6. Hi John, Here is the story about my spare cab. I was browsing on the internet for green stuf like the most of us do now and then. Suddenly there was my attention atracted to an advertice called "interrior of a Bedford MW" and with it was a photo of a Bedford MWR with flat tyres who have been sold last year in the UK. While i was looking at the photees i saw it was an aeroscreen cab + a toolbox the one on the right hand side under the back body. I saw that the mountings of the window were stil on it and some remains of the windows to. After some emailing up and down i did get an appointment for a visit it was a 2,5 hour ride up and it turned out that the man was a relic hunter for almost 35 years now and he could tell me that he did find this cab with contract number T 8102 near a Dutch air force base in the ground and dug it up. It was stored in his collection of dug up finds....from his garden you look right against the cab of a Canadian F15 who had run into a tree. As you can understand i am happy to have this spare one for these bits wich i can use to improve the looks of my wee aeroscreen. Cheers, Louis
  7. Hi John, Here are photees of my cabs. The first one is my spare one where my correct window mountings will come of. The second one is on my aeroscreen dash. Cheers, Louis
  8. Hi John, I see that we both have the same contract number. I was wondering wich chassis number would been in this lot and other lots too. On the spare cab i have (a dig up one) is a contract number that starts with a T and is an 8000 series. But my contact number is on top of my dash in a thin coper plate not like you have on your rear body. I think its the efforth wurth to contact the RLC museum who knows what they have in the archive for me...:cool2: Maurice we al wil keep an eye out for your corner pipe for the airfilter. Cheers, Louis
  9. Hi John, What about the windows i do have a donor cab for that. Its a dig up find from an aeroscreen near the airbase Volkel..who was operated bij the RAF for a wee while. So that problem wil be solved when i get the right mountings of that one to fit on mine MW. It has at this moment 3 right and 1 left mounting on it thats why the windows are on a wooden base at the momen. Can you tel me more about the chassis contract number that is shown on top of the dash? (what is your number on that). And what relation it has to the chassis number? And do you have a photo of your dash for us here? Cheers, Louis

  11. Hi everyone, Can we start here a list of chassis numbers rated to the chassis contract numbers..?? There is quite a difereance between those 2 and i am very interested in the relaton of them. I do own 2 aeroscreen cabs at the moment and both of them have very different numbers.... Starting with a letter vollowed by 4 numbers. While the chassis number have 3 letters vollowed by 5 numbers. Any ideas and comments (with chassis No and contract No) are more then welcome. Cheers, Louis
