  1. Hi, if you still have your humber im only up the road near Kiveton Park, be good to talk to a fellow owner.
  2. Doing a great job with the renovation of your ferret, please remember to close the front side hatches when climbing out of the drivers area, as you will end up with flat fingers, they close as you press on them ! Prevention is better than a trip to the hospital.

  9. Does anyone know where the Humber 1 ton radio body, in sand colours and the diamond t prime mover with trailer went, or who owns them ? I spent many hours looking round and loved the D day photos and models of the floating harbour.
  10. Yes thats me, met at W and P show, was a good show, even with the mud that made things interesting for alot of the viewing public. I will take a look at mine as an early model T. Looking for a tail gate now. All the best with your projects, Nigel.
  11. You may be able to fit a fastener across the bearing retainer to locate in the two recesses, then drill and fit sellock pin into shaft side of centre hole, while using the centre hole to tap out and thread for a suitable set screw, giving two anchor points. All the best Nigel, dt owner.
  12. Chobham type, went to scrap yard near Long Marsden and bought whole rear axle for £100. Removed it while snowing. Still have it, so heavy, the wheel station is enough weight on its own.
  13. Big job to change long inner half shaft on rear axle, after removing broken shaft couldnt get twisted 2" remains out of diff. so dismantled left hand side, tapped through, phew, then just to put back, 2 month project lol. All because delivery team pulled it up motorway with front axle in 4x4, i thought it was comming on a low loader ! Its a specialised vehicle and needs special attension to details.
  14. Not started engine yet, got water pump in bits, shaft pitted and seals worn, got daves spare to put on, then compressor, connect fuel pipes and give it ago. Cleaning front cross member at mo, got correct one with towing hook. RSJ needs removing. So its progressing, previous owner changed all tyres so have plenty of tread. Winch needs drive fitting too. Cab tired, will need removing and repairing. All the best Nigel.
