Something to light up her face! A torch? :cool2:
On very earlies this week. Fine till about 10:00, then the whole dammn world comes out Haven't finished a trip after that for the last three days!
A look in daylight, shows I was an idiot not a **** idiot. I've knocked a hole in the flat part of the sump, but unfortunatley alloy. The idea is to strip it off and clean up then look at options. At the moment -7' is s eriously stopping play. The main thing is will any of the chemical metals stand imersion in hot engine oil? TIG would be the best answer but its quite a big hole.
Just heard a UK week weather forcast, basically, it will be cold, other than that stick your head out the door and see what is happening.Hey Enigam, that looks serious!
My own stupid fault. Showing off went to fast up a snow covered track didn't see the bump. The Range Rover is fitted with an Iuzui 2.8 Diesel. The breather on the axle came up and smaked a hole in the timing case.
The vehicle is a conversion. Range Rover with 2.8 Isuzui. I've owned her for years with no problem. It was showing off speding up a rough track that was slippery and snow covered. Morale: If you can't see the ground, engage brain before right foot. Thanks for the advice lads.
Bit over the top wasn't it? You could have just offerd him your
hand. :-D
I've now got to spend the day trying to start the stand by Land Rover and how to fix the hole in the Range Rover timing case :argh:
Nothing may be stupid about it! Showing off in the snow the axale breather has punched a neat 1 inch square hole in the timing cover of the Range Rover!:argh: Can anyone recommend a reapir paste or other technique for an alloy cover?
