  2. Hi I went to veiw this tank with Bob Grundy, from British Military Vehicles,Ashton in Makerfield,a good few years ago now,we were asked to get it running, which we did and drove it round a short distance. They were unsure what was happening to it ! Bob may know the whereabouts ? Regards AMgeneral.
  3. Hi Again AMgeneral here,Just thought, the chap who did the turbo on the engine was a plant fitter who ran a vehicle repair business in Stalybridge,he bought the truck off me mid 2004,and keep it for a couple off years. His name was Geoff Moody and he retired a few years ago,I have a phone number for him if he is still there 0161-338 2262,its worth a try ! Will dig a few photos out . I won quite a few shows with it. Ian.
  4. Hi,Used to be mine,1990 - 2004,I looked round for 12 months or more to find a clean one,it was the cleanest around when I had it,it had just had an overhaul, new brakes and drums, front springs and shocks, tyres and more,if you need more info please let me know. Regards Ian.

  6. Hi,I have run three of these trucks,I found them an excellent mid size vehicle, not to slow on the road ( 50 + MPH ) power steering etc.I have had 2 manual gearbox and 1 auto, (Chrysler Torqueflight ) LHD lovely to drive,Perkins Phaser 4 litre engine 20/24 MPG on the motorway. The auto one I fitted a coms body (Withams £750 +vat ).I have spent many an hour trying to sort out brake imbalance, especially when cold but other than that I can recommend these vehicles. Ian.
  7. Hi,Give me a day or two,I had an RB44 a couple of years ago and I fitted a coms pod which I bought from Withams,I will find them soon. They look very well, just a bit low inside, abouit 5 ft 6 inches. Ian.
