The tank badge on a 3sw sits in the middle top of the petrol tank, so your petrol tank is the right on.

Yes Ian , on two of the trucks there are markings "beach" on the rear of the lorry.

Like the Bedford QL, is this the truck wherefore i took some measurements for the rear hatch?
Really a nice collection of vehicles you have in your group.

The law changed for the breathalyser, is not any more a required part of the kit in France.

I think there is a spacer in between the two rear engine plates, All the pre-unit engine have a spacer!
Will check this tomorrow.

Hello, this is a picture of a 3sw that I had but now sold to a neighbour. The colour match cane from the back off the primary chain case where there was still some original paint left .
But the paint we use was a bit to shiny, but now after more than 5 years it aged very well.
(Bike has not al original bits but it is a good runner)

Better to have a good look to your workshop manual, the adjustment of the brake servo has to be spot on!

There is one problem , normally the rear official numberplate stays with the owner if a vehicle is sold in Belgium!
So you will have a problem if you want to drive it from the port to your home.

OK Ian, but send also the instruction manual with these bits if you are ready with riveting.
The trailer is on hold for the moment as I wait for better weather to spray the bits after sandblasting!

Yes Ian, as I said in a previous mail there are small differences on are trailers.
It is a pity that I don't can make anything out off the identification plate.
Things that I noticed on pictures off the 2 trailers are:
The front corners , re-enforcement ribs in the mudguards (your are the same style as my bedford and on mine the re-enforcement is the complete extension off the guard)
The opening in the tail hatch is a square on mine and there is a difference in the lock for this hatch (on the bottom off the chassis)
So if we see al these small deferences I think the trailers where not al bild by the same constructors!
Tailgate opening and locking system under need!
See the mudguard edge.

You can be right about the top of the canvas Paul, I have seen pictures with the top of the canvas in black.
But I think I will leave it as it is (think I will need to match paint to do the complete top).
But you have a point about the black top.
