    Was going to put the rings on the jeep pistons today. When it came to unpacking rings there are 4 hex shaped rings packed in with the oil retainers. Where do these go?:???

    I used the Frost stuff on the C8 tanks. You wouldnt believe how much c**p had accumulated in them over the years. Used Marine Clean, then the Metal Ready, then the Fuel tank sealer. Never had any probs. They do it as a complete tank kit with all 3.

    Yes, yes, yes. I wondered about an uptodate price guide similar to one in CMV but expanding it to more vehicles. Its all very well seeing prices for landys, but it leaves out the more obscure, yet in common ownership vehilcles like say...the C8's, Iltis, bomb tractors to name a few.

    :confused:Also on the jeep, the sidelights arent mounted on the wings, which I understand was British practice and what is the insignia on the right hand side? How doeas it relate to the 57? There doesnt seem to be a reg or bonnet number???:confused:
