  1. I think Richard has hit the nail on the head, think there was a Norwegian one for sale on ebay a while ago. The third I think is a King Tiger, correct me if Im wrong. Although the glacis plate does seem to have a shallower angle. http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o72/rik242_2006/P70.jpg[/img]
  2. I read somewhere that the Yanks never drove with the canvas up, you have to wonder... :schocked:
  3. I'll go along with a Horch Neil. Not too sure 'bout the other two.
  4. Thought I would kick off a thread of vehicle photos in Europe in winter, dig into your archives!
  5. Oh, well done....! :help:
  6. Those 3 came from a set of four I found the last one is this. Hotel de Ville Montebourg. The other photos bear the description of being in Avranches, or La Manche. I dont know what that translates as, or where it is know. Be interesting to know.
  7. Just to keep the grey matter working, what are they? 1 http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o72/rik242_2006/262a_3.jpg[/img] 2 http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o72/rik242_2006/6be2_1.jpg[/img] 3 http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o72/rik242_2006/0a44_1.jpg[/img]

  10. British vehicle at Dunkirk, interesting to see a good pic of the camoflage, but what is it. The only 6 wheeler I can think of is a CDSW? Any takers? http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o72/rik242_2006/1685_1.jpg[/img]
  11. Some recently found pics of US vehicles in Normandy GMC Tipper?? Unloading at Mulberry harbour. Interesting series of 2 photos.
  12. I'll second that. What wood is it?
  13. No its not bad! Claiming Im an engineer is!Although I did manage to make a cable end jaw clamp out of a clevis pin today for one of the C8 cables. We need a base floor pattern to carry on with that. The engine Im using is painted blued underneath, any ideas why that is?
  14. Good pic, not seen that before.
  15. If a military vehicle has a number plate and is registered as a Q plate can you re-register it with a non Q plate. The vehicle in question has original chassis number. :dunno:
  16. Stripped down the chosen engine to do all necessary engine work, I wont do an in depth blog of an engine rebuild as there is a very good in depth one on G503 forum. A question though, of all my MB blocks, all 2 of them both have slight pitting around the face of the block around the cylinder/valve holes. Is this common for these? Do they need refacing or can they be alright if not too bad?
  17. Yep, good to see 2 wheels. Are the foot shaped footrest original equipment?
  18. Nooooo! Was that on ebay Tim? Wher was it?
