Farmers are the mother of invension when it comes to running repairs ,many a shout will be heard or is it herd "sh`ell go again lad" (please feel free to add yorkshire accent )
here are just three i came across on the latest jeep project ,the question is how much do you keep original
1/ fuel filter bypass this is always a favorite
2 / fuel filter split ,push a object between the filter leaves "this gets the fuel flowing"
number 1 to be used if number 2 fails
3/ pedal replacement the use of any handy part can keep your vehicle on the road
sadly i never photo`d the body of this jeep the main parts where made from fence rails complete this chew marks from cattle ,old castrol five gallon cans sqwashed flat & nailed to the frame.
One inner tube and tyre must of had 20 repairs including patches of new tread glued into holes in the sidewall of the tyre, the one remaining tyre that did blow up had a bright orange ww2 innertube in it ,
anyone out there got photos of there farm repairs?????
