  2. Nope, the Fox has electronic ignition & apart from having to put in a new condensor the Ferret always starts first time, no point in changing something that still works..
  3. Dend me a pm with exactly what you want cut & how you want it laid out, let me know your address & it's done.
  4. I suspect they are still scratching their heads on that one, you could try Vellemans who make the kits for Maplin http://www.velleman.be/ot/en/product/view/?id=8946

  12. Ah yes but those guys in the booths are not that well educated.. we get told every time if the tax is free so is the toll..
  13. No you don't if you have a free tax disk.. Pardon??????????? Are tax exempt vehicles also toll exempt now???? There was me wasting all that good worrying about how to pay the toll from the drivers seat of a Stalwart :? :? Correct, tax exempt = toll free. As from about two weeks ago you don't even have to fill in the bit of paper anymore, you just tell them it's tax exempt, they get out of their little box take a quick shifty of the tax disk & away you go. Get a little board made up saying "Tax Exempt" to flash at them..
  14. No you don't if you have a free tax disk..

  17. As any vehicle I get will be carrying information boards for display carrying technical information on the vehicle, the vehicles history both generic and specific as well as exactly what a"HMLC" really is my feeling is that section q WILL cover me. Of course - if plans for a Stalwart fall through for any reason and I rever to plan C (plan A was a DUKW - now priced out of reality) then that will be anything from the 1950's and the entire question becomes academic as any vehicle pre-1960 is exempt from the weight regulations provided it is registered as a historic vehicle. Neil, Clause Q.. "mobile project vehicles - having a maximum authorised mass exceeding 3.5 tonnes and constructed..... " The vehicle in question would have to be registered as a Mobile Project Vehicle to be able to drive it under this clause, I know this as I contacted the DVLA recently on registering a Saladin as a MPV..
  18. http://www.dvla.gov.uk/drivers/drivers.htm this should help

  25. Mick, if you are using Photobucket or similar you should have a page like this: what you need to do is highlight everything in the Img Box copy & paste it in to your message, your photo won't appear untill you post or preview it..
